With the aim of stopping the cutting of environmentally friendly trees, encouraging blood donation and creating mass awareness among the youth about the dangers of drugs, Iqbal Mondal aka Yusuf of Rajbari started traveling to 64 districts on foot from Cox's Bazar. He started the official journey from Cox's Bazar Shaheed Minar to 64 districts on Thursday around 11 o'clock.

Iqbal Mandal alias Yusuf is the son of Delbar Mandal of Tofadia village of Kalukhali upazila of Rajbari district. He is a student.

Yusuf Iqbal said that he will travel 64 districts of the country on foot in 55 days to protect from the dangers of drugs, encourage blood donation and prevent environment-friendly trees from being cut.

After starting the walk from the zero point of Cox's Bazar, he will reach his district Rajbari on January 5. Yusuf will walk for an average of 10 hours every day.

However, the cooperative has not yet received any sponsor, he said.

Earlier Yusuf walked 130 km from Khulna to Rajbari's Baliakandi in 24 hours and from Dhaka to Rajbari in 14 hours.

Besides, this young man also said that he walks about 30 kilometers a day to keep himself fit.

He also said that the next generation of the country is on the verge of destruction due to the terrible invasion of drugs, natural disasters are happening every year due to the cutting of environmentally friendly trees.

The risk of climate change is increasing on Bangladesh. Along with that, blood donation has been forgotten by today's youth.

He said that his walk is aimed at creating awareness among the next generation about these issues.

Yusuf will first travel across the country via Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachari and Feni districts and end his walk at his own district Rajbari.
