A young man was slaughtered to death in a rival clash on Monday night at Pagla area under Fatulla district. Deceased was identified as Rajib Alias. He was the son of Hasu Talukder resident of Pagla area of Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.
Shahadat Hossain Inspector narayanganj Sadar Upazila told the media that a dispute had been prevailed between Rajib and Mithon over a criminal case in last 4 years. In 2016, Mithon and others were serious assaulted by an attack on Rajib gang.
Regarding which Mithon filled a criminal case against Rajib and his associates. Which provoked Rajib gang on Mithon. They also had been pressurized to withdraw the case. None of which had any effect on Mithon.
On Monday Rajib gang engaged Mithon house with sharp weapon and demanded to withdraw the case which he was not willing to do so as a result they got engaged in clash.
In which clash Rajib was serious injured. The locals rescued him from the spot and sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty Doctor declared him death.
Police said that murder of Rajib was associated with a notorious criminal like Mir Hossain Miru of Pagla area. Rajib’s father filled a murder case in the Fatulla police Station accusing 11 named criminals and another 26 unknown criminals who were involved in this murder.
