An unidentified youth died after falling from a building at South Keraniganj in the capital on Wednesday night.
The youth was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition where doctor declared him dead.
Sub-Inspector of Keraniganj Police Station Sentu said,“Being informed, we recovered him in a critical condition. Later, we brought him to DMCH where doctor declared him dead”.
Quoting locals he said, the man fell down from the building while trying to steal there.
But the identity of the deceased could not be known immediately’.
The body was kept to the DMCH morgue for autopsy. The reason of his death will be ascertained after getting the autopsy report, he added.
