Young entrepreneurs will be the life force of the economy of Bangladesh if they can work with honesty and dedication, said FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam.
"Becoming an entrepreneur is not an easy thing, a young entrepreneur has to go through many ups and downs, he has to face new challenges constantly", Mahbub said. He was addressing meeting of the Standing Committee on Youth Entrepreneurship held at the FBCCI office on Sunday, attending the event virtually as the chief guest.
Mohammad Sajibul Al-Rajib, the chairman of the standing committee and Managing Director of Dhaka Resort Ltd, presided over the meeting while Md. Kawsar Ahmed, director in-charge of the committee was present.
Mahbub also said that the youth of the country will be the artisans of building smart Bangladesh in 2041. In this era of artificial intelligence where utilising manual labourers is decreasing day by day, young entrepreneurs need to be creative and bold in their business thinking. He also commented that the young entrepreneurs of the country will be successful if they can work with honesty and sincerity with big dreams.
Md. Amin Helaly, Senior Vice President of FBCCI said, the country has a large number of young manpower which is the great strength.
Global business is constantly changing. The young generation of the country should contribute in this regard.
Director in-charge, Kawsar Ahmed said, the young generation want to be established by working with their own plans.
But they have to face various challenges due to the complexity in obtaining licenses from agencies concerned.
Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed, professor of the University of Dhaka, presented keynote at the meeting. He said that if the young generation is developed as skilled workforces or if they do not enter the field of freelancing, the number of unemployed in the country will increase hugely .
FBCCI Director Harun Or-Rashid, Ishaqul Islam Sweet, Syed Md Bakhtiar, Niaz Ali Chishti, Co-Chairman and Members of the Committee also spoke on the occasion.
In the open discussion, the speakers emphasized on arranging district-wise training on entrepreneurship, providing space for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products or services, ensuring all licenses under one umbrella.
