Youth for Bangladesh (YFB), a voluntary organization, is carrying on different projects to help poor people. On Saturday, they arranged Iftar for 500 people to observe the first day of Ramadan at Kamalapur Railway Station. They are seen arranging it keeping social distancing in mind. They marked the whole place keeping enough distance so that people can sit at a safe distance from one another.
Shenanur Rahman Asif, President, YFB says “All are staying at home for their safety. But there are lots of people who do not have shelter, even living in a city of tall buildings. We are trying to help them as much as we can.” “We’ve arranged Iftar for 500 people this time and this number will increase in the upcoming days”, he added.
YFB is also running different projects to help the people such as free 15 days’ food items for the poor people, ready food distribution among the foodless people, free medical advice service etc. Recently they have started to sell ‘10days’ food at 10 TK’ among the middle class and lower middle class people.
