World youth skill day was observed in Jhenaidah with a view to build a potential country making the teachers, trainers and youth community skill and efficient in technology.
Jhenaidah technical training centre (TTC) and government technical school and college jointly organized the programme at Jhenaidah technical training centre on Saturday.
Earlier a colourful rally was brought from the Old DC Court in the morning that paraded the main roads in the town. Deputy commissioner (DC) SM Rafiqul Islam led the same.
Deputy Commissioner SM Rafiqul Islam, TTC principal Rustam Ali, government technical school and college principal Khalilur Rahman, TTC chief i0nstructor Asaduzzaman, instructor Shital Chandra, senior teacher Abul Hasnat, job placement officer Abdullah Al Maun, Japanese language teacher Abu Bakar Siddique among others spoke.
The speakers had given emphasis on skill and efficient development training for the youth community as they have been bagging huge foreign currency round the clock that has been playing significant role in strengthening the socio-economic base of the country. Millions of unemployed youths both men and women have been rendering services in home and abroad, they added.
