World Food Day-2021 was observed across the country on Saturday (October 16). As part of that, District Administration and the Department of Agricultural Extension jointly observed the day in Kishoreganj district. On the occasion, a discussion was held at the conference room of the district administration. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Nazmul Islam Sarker presided over the discussion.

The discussion was addressed by Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) Md Saiful Alam, Additional Deputy Director (Crop) of DAE Saiful Hasan Alamin, Additional Police Super (Crime) Mohammad Nur E Alam, Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Ali Siddique, District Food Controller Fahad Akanda, District Mohila Awami League General Secretary Bilkis Begum, District Krishak League General Secretary Anwar Hossain Bacchu and Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officer Md Emdadul Islam, among others.
