Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said that in order to build a modern Bangladesh, the future generation of the country should be built by acquiring world class education, knowledge and skills.
This is impossible in conventional and conventional education. Only by acquiring practical world class education and skills is it possible to build qualified citizens.
The minister was speaking at the inauguration of the Marine Research Hatchery at the Coastal Biodiversity Marine Fisheries and Wildlife Resource Center at Daryanagar, Cox's Bazar, University of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences (Sivasu) on Saturday.
The Education Minister said that if Malaysian technology at Marine Research Hatchery could start production of vhetki and other commercially important marine fish like tilapia-pangas, it would play a significant role in the economy of Bangladesh.
If this is possible, there will be revolutionary development in the fisheries sector of the country. Marine Hatchery will be an advanced laboratory for this purpose.
Here researchers from Bangladesh as well as researchers from different countries will work together.
Minister Dipu Moni further said that the Hon'ble Prime Minister had announced that there would be one public or private university in each district of Bangladesh. Since there is a private university in Cox's Bazar, the government has no plans to have a public university here at the moment.
Before speaking to the media, the Minister inspected and inaugurated the Marine Research Hatchery at the Coastal Biodiversity Marine Fisheries and Wildlife Resource Center at Daryanagar, Cox's Bazar, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University at 11:15 am.
