A workshop on “Environment conservation” was held with the aim of creating awareness among the students of wildlife sanctuary area of Teknaf in Cox's Bazar. Codec, a private development organisation, is working to help students in the region learn about wildlife and the environment.
Held on Wednesday, the event was participated by 45 students from 15 schools and colleges in the wildlife sanctuary area.
Ayesha Akhter, Associate Prof of Marine Science Department of Chittagong University, was the chief guest in the programme organised by Codec with the help of USAID.
Codec's Senior Financial Director Md Didarul Alam Chowdhury presided over the function. Students of Nisarg Club member participated in a drawing competition titled "Environmental friendly and safe world for all."
Finally, the students who participated in the workshop took part in the cleanup campaign in Jahaspura area of Teknaf beach.
