Workshop on teachers training ends at DIU

A 3 week-long workshop on “Teachers Training on Teaching, Research and Professional Development” has ended on Tuesday at 71 Milonayoton of  Daffodil International University  (DIU) organized by the Department of Pharmacy of  Faculty of Allied Health Science of the university for their faculty members. 

Dr Md Sabur Khan, chairman, Board of Trustees, DIU was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the workshop. Professor Ahemd Mustafa, PhD, visiting professor, FAHS, DIU; Professor of Biology and Director of Life Science Resource Center, Purdue University, Fort Wayne, USA conducted the seminar.

 Professor Dr Yousuf M Islam, vice chancellor (VC),  Professor Dr S M Mahabub Ul-Haque Majumder, pro VC, Professor Dr A M m Hamidur Rahman, dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science were present as the special guests. Professor Dr Ahmed Ismail Mostafa, dean, Faculty of Allied Health Science (FAHS) presided over the programme.   

While addressing as the chief guest Dr Md Sabur Khan said, “From the inception, DIU is imposing highest priority to ensure quality education and research works and that’s why within a very short period this university obtained the trust and confidence of students and guardians.”    

While presenting keynote papers Professor Ahemd Mustafa, highlighted some techniques of effective teaching, research and professional development.
