A three-day long training workshop on quality processing and preservation of agro products began in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna on Sunday morning. Ishwardi Upazila Department of Agricultutral Extenssion organised the workshop at the Nursery Office auditorium.
Director of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council Dr. Monirul Islam inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest. Earlier, Ishwardi Upazila Agriculture Officer Abdul Latif gave the welcome address.
Ishwardi Agricultural Training Institute’s Acting Pricipal Sayed Hasan, Ishwardi Pulses Researches Center’s Senior Scintific Officer Jahangir Alam and Bangladesh Sugercrop Researches Institute’s Senior Scientific Officer talked about the Quality Processing and Preservation of the Agro product and nutrition at the time.
About 30 people including teachers of different educational institute, field level officials of Agricultural Office and journalists participated in the workshop. The training workshop will be held every day from 9am to 5pm until Tuesday, March 10.
