Workshop on cattle, poultry farming begins in Faridpur

A three-day-long short term training programme on poultry and cattle farming was inaugurated in Faridpur on Monday with the initiative of Reintegration Support for Returnee Migrant Workers (RSRMW), a project to help the workers in Faridpur who came back to the country from abroad.

The inauguration ceremony of the training programme was arranged by Barishal region Caritas at Shanti Rani Catholic Mission Hall Room of Raghunandapur RSRMW office at 10:00am on Monday. 

The training programme was inaugurated by Faridpur Sadar Upazila Youth Development Officer Prosanta Kumar Barai. The overall programme was conducted by Field Officer Uchomen of Barishal region Caritas, Faridpur Project. Case Management Officer of Faripur Sadar Caritas Abu Sayed and Case Management Officer of Madhupur Caritas Mahiyas Haldar were present at that time. Project partners participated in the training programme on small entrepreneurship, agriculture, livestock, poultry farming and vaccination.

A total of 50 male and female trainees participated in the training programme.
