Daylong training workshop for the Hajj pilgrims of Jhenaidah was held at Jhenaidah district Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Saturday. Jhenaidah district administration organized the workshop for both government and private initiatives pilgrims.
Presided over by deputy director of Islamic Foundation in Jhenaidah Abdul Hamid, deputy commissioner (DC) SM Rafiqul Islam inaugurated the event as chief guest. Deputy director of local government deputy director (LGRD) Yearul Islam attended the training workshop as special guest.
The participants were provided information and their duties and responsibility on primary preparation, administrative communications, importance of the hazz and health safety of the hajj pilgrims.
Hakk association of Bangladesh (HAB) Dhaka office representative Mokarram Hossain, medical officer of the office of the civil surgeon in Jhenaidah Dr Mehedi Hasan, Old DC Court Jam- E- mosque khatib Moulana Muhammadullah and Bhutiargati Alim Madrashah principal Abu Bakar Siddique facilitated the training course. A total of 326 intending Hajj pilgrims had participated in the daylong training workshop.
