Workers Party of Bangladesh has strongly protested and condemned the slogan chanted by anti-quota protesters terming themselves as Razakar during their movement.
"Such slogan is not only shocking but also unfortunate in the independent Bangladesh," said the party's politburo in a statement yesterday.
It said that this slogan proved that a vested quarter was not only trying to stand the movement of quota reform against the Liberation War but also raising such slogan to take the leadership of the movement under their control.
"Such efforts of the vested quarter are not only dangerous for the quota reform movement, but also dangerous for the spirit and tradition of the country's freedom and the Liberation War," said the party.
It also urged all concerned to remain alert against such evil efforts of the vested quarter.
