Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury said that it is very difficult to determine the number of students who have been injured around the quota reform movement. However, he said that the government is working on it.
The Education Minister said these things at a press briefing held at the Law Minister's residence in Gulshan on Tuesday. Law Minister Anisul Haq, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat, Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain and others were also present at this time.
The Education Minister said, "We must first find out who was behind these violence." Besides, it will not be so easy to accurately estimate the number of students among the casualties if the educational institutions are not fully opened.
In this regard, the Law Minister said, 'Judicial investigation is going on regarding the student casualties. We will not say anything until that investigation is over.'
Anisul Haq said, "Jamaat-Shibir and BNP have entered into the Komalmati students' movement and led the movement to violence. Militants of Shibir-Chhatradal joined the movement and suppressed the movement. We have been patient, still patient. Because they are young students.
