Bangladesh national women football team left for Kathmandu at 10 a.m. on Tuesday to play Women's SAFF Championship to kick off from tomorrow.
Out of the 23-member of the SAFF squad, four appeared in the HSC examination 2024. Among the four, Afida Khandkar and Shaheda Akhtar Ripa passed. But star footballers Tahura Khatun and Shamsunnahar Junior were not successful.
Meanwhile, results of the HSC examination was published yesterday morning when the women’s team was on their flight from Dhaka to Kathmandu. Afida Khandkar and Shaheda Akhtar Ripa came to know the results shortly after their landing on the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. The Nepal Football Association (ANFA) received the Bangladesh team at the Airport and then they had a photo session. The weather in Nepal was quite normal. Bangladesh team had no any outdoor practice session on the day.
