Police in Gouripur of Mymensingh recovered body of an unidentified woman from inside a suitcase on Monday morning.
Shakher Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police of Gouripur Circle informed, local people noticed a suitcase abandoned under Jora Culvert beside Mymensigh-Kishoreganj highway at Gangashram area of Gourpur.
Being suspicious, they informed the police. Police rushed to the spot and by opening the suitcase recovered the dead body of a woman (aged about 32) from inside the suitcase.
He further informed, the suitcase also contained several bricks which indicates those bricks were put inside the suitcase to drown the dead body with the suitcase in water. Police were trying to identify the woman and to reveal the mystery of the incident, he added.
