Unidentified miscreants broke in at a house and killed a woman cutting off her throat at Dakkhin Rajashon area in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital on early Thursday. Police later on information recovered the body and sent it to Capital's Shahid Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The deceased was identified as Ruma, 28, daughter of Mohiuddin Mollah, hailed from Dkkhin Rajashon area in Savar. Locals said, the woman was married and lived in that house with her child, owned by her father as her husband, namely Mubarak Hossain is an expatriate and living abroad for long.
They further said, Ruma went to sleep last night like other days, but didn’t awaken in early morning. Later her family members went to her to call her but they found her dead."She usually awakens in early morning", they added. Kazi Mainul Islam, OC, Savar model police station said they recovered the body Thursday morning and their team working on it to identify the culprits. "Processing to file a case regarding the matter was underway", OC added.
