Police in a drive arrested a female drug trader along with 118 bottles of phensidyl at Alaypur Mohajonpara village under Bagha upazila in Rajshahi on early Tuesday.
The detainee was identified as Sagori Begum, 35, wife of Samsul Huq Pramanik of the village. Officer-in-charge of Bagha police station Sazzad Hossain confirmed the matter.

He said tipped off, police conducted a raid at the Mohajonpara village and detained the woman with 118 bottles of phensidyl. At that time, sensing the presence of the police members, her husband Samsul fled the scene.
A case was lodged against three persons in this connection under Narcotics Control Act with the police station, also said the OC.
