A housewife Fahima Khatun, 29, of Chargolaknagar village in Shailkupa of Jhenaidah had given birth three children at time at Jhenaidah 250-bed general hospital on Wednesday. But the parents were worried about nursing and caring her children when her husband a poor farmer of Chargolaknagar was in a trouble to nurse their first girl child of age 5.
Fahima’s sister Shamima Khatun said Fahima was married to a poor farmer Sohel Rana about six years back. The couple have a five-year girl child. As she (Fahima) got pregnancy, she was examined by the physicians and they said she was going to deliver a pair of babies. She got admitted at Jhenaidah sadar hospital on Tuesday and delivered three sons after a scissoring operation and normal delivery process.
Talkiang to the media activists the mother Fahima Khatun said she and her husband R ana were very glad to the babies at time, while were worried about the maintenance of the four children at time. They had urged upon the well to do people to extend their hands to help the poor family members, especially, the children.
Dr. Anwarul Islam, pediatric consultant at Jhenaidah 250-bed general hospital when contacted said they were able to bring all the three babies in the nature after a thorough surgery and normal process for hours together. As the children were immature, very week physically due the least weight. Although they have been suffering from some physical complications, the physicians have ben trying to keep them well, said pediatric consultant Dr. Anwarul Islam.
