The border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in bordering Moheshpur upapzila in Jhenidah have detained a woman when she was trying to enter the Indian territory.
The border guards detaied her from a road at Laraighat village of Moheshpur about 100 yeards in zero lines on Tuesday, while hunting for the man who had instigate her to leave the coucntry.
BGB 58 battalion asssisatnt dirtector Nazrul Islam Khan quoting th BGB battalion director Qamrul Ahsan said the border guards of Srinathpur border observation paharee (BOP) had detained Laizu Begum, 28, wife of Ohidul Islam of PC Barailkhali village in Morelganj upazila of Bagerhat in the evening of Tuesday.
The detained informed the BGB men that some broker Ripon Mia was helping her to leave the country without any valid documents. The BGB men were also hunting for Ripon Mia.
The detainee was handed over to local Moheshpur plice staion aftwer filing a case whwere broker Ripon Mia was accused.
