Cox’s Bazar Fisheries Unity Co-operative Association formed a human chain and staged demonstration in front of DC office in the district town on Friday demanding withdrawal of the false case filed against fish traders.
Speakers of the demonstration rally said that the fabricated case has been filed against the fish traders as part of the conspiracy. It has to be withdrawn immediately, they demanded.
Cox's Bazar municipal mayor and district Awami League General Secretary Mujibur Rahman, former president of Cox's Bazar Fisheries Unity Co-operative Society Joynal Abedin, president of Fisheries Co-operative Society Abdullah Al Masud Azad, Cox's Bazar District Boat Owners Association member Nasir Uddin Bachchu and Cox's Bazar Fisheries Trade Unity Co-operative Society's General Secretary Janaz Alam Putu spoke at the rally, among others. They protested conspiracy against them.
