Wildlife Olympiad-2024 was held in Patuakhali to raise awareness about forest and wildlife on Friday.
It was organized by Forest Department with the help of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at Patukhali Govt. Girl’s High School.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Jadob Sarker inaugurated the programme. Officials of District Forest Department and the school teachers were present at that time.
Later, MCQ and written exams were held where almost 500 students from various schools and colleges participated. The result was published on Forest Department’s website. All the students who participated in the exams will be awarded with E-certificates and medals. Moreover, this awareness programme will be organized at national level in various categories with the students selected from district level.
