The five-episode anthology series Bagh Bondi Shingho Bondi released yesterday. In each episode, storytellers share an anecdote from diverse experiences that people have faced during the time of coronavirus pandemic.
This has been released on country’s popular OTT platform Binge.
The first episode of the series ‘Jatri’ is based on the story of a coronavirus infected patient. The drama is directed by veteran director Gias Uddin Selim.
Chanchal Chowdhury played the lead role of security guard ‘Moti’ in the film production. Shyamal Mawla, Ramisha Neela, Ahsanul Haque Minu and others have also acted.
The series comprises, ‘Arai Mon Swapna’ by Abu Shahed Emon; ‘Esho Boshey Ekshathey Khai’ by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury; ‘Mukh Asman’ by Animesh Aich; ‘Jatri’ by Gias Uddin Selim; and, ‘Nishiddho Bashor’ by Nurul Alam Atik. All the short films were produced maintaining social distancing guidelines.
The stories are approximately 30 minutes long, written by the country’s top five film directors and makers. The scripts are written and directed by themselves.
