Free mask and soap distribution and hand washing programme organised by an organisation of village doctors ‘We Are Village Doctor Bangladesh’ on Thursday to prevent corona virus.
Chirirbandar upazila and Dinajpur district committee of the organisation organised the event at Ranibandar Bazar in The Chiribandar upazila of Dinajpur on the Dashmile-Syedpur Highway. Soap and masks were distributed among 300 poor and helpless people by the Chiribandar upazila committee of the organization.
The programme the Vice President of the Chiribandar unit, Dr Mahfujar Rahman. The chief guest at the programme was the UP Chairman of Nusratpur Nur Islam Nuru while president of the organisation's Chrirbandar unit village doctor Liaqat Ali Khandakar presided over it.
The special guest at the event was the founding Chairman of the organisation Md. Shah Alam Nur Akash, while founder Managing Director Halima Begum Sadia, College Principal MD. Shahidul Islam and others were present. “With a little help from me and you, a hardworking, unemployed man will be able to survive” said, Shah Alam Noor Akash. He called for the help of all from their own position to support these unemployed people in this critical time.
