Among the five Eid releases, 'Toofan' has dominated with screenings in over 120 theatres. The remaining four films—'Mayurakshi,' 'Revenge,' 'Dark World,' and 'Agontuk'—are collectively screened in 35 halls.

Amid the excitement surrounding five Eid-ul-Azha movie releases, four films have captured viewers' attention. Here's what audiences are saying: A female viewer expressed her emotions after watching 'Mayurakshi': "I cried after seeing the picture. Heartbreaking story. I like the movie very much."

Rahman Moti, a viewer from Bangla Film Group, commented on the realism of 'Mayurakshi': "This is a realistic film. It gives an impression of what actually happens behind the colourful world." Directed by Rashid Palash, the film portrays the life of Dhakai cinema actress Nayantara, played by Bobby, with Deep portraying Nayantara's lover, Jimmy. The narrative revolves around Jimmy's love for Nayantara and an incident involving a hijacked plane named Mayurakshi. Director Rashid Palash revealed that the film had four screenings on Thursday across two theatres, expanding to eight shows across four theatres today. Gholam Rabbani penned the story and screenplay, with performances by Bobby, Deep, Sumit Sengupta, and Sadia Mahi.

Feedback for 'Revenge' highlighted its social message and strong performances, though some viewers desired more dynamic action scenes. Starring Shabnam Bubli, Roshan, Deepa Khandkar, and Misha Saudagar, the film explores societal themes.

'Agontuk' received praise from viewers like Iftekhar Ahmed, who lauded director Suman Dhar's work and performances by Puja Cherry and Shamol Mawla. The thriller also stars Milli Bashar, Masum Bashar, and Hindol Roy, with Tiger Media as its digital partner.

Asif Ahmed's review of 'Dark World' on Bangladeshi Film Group highlighted its unconventional storytelling and emotional impact: "The movie starts with expectations of a typical storyline but surprises with a gripping plot twist that moved me to tears." Starring Munna Khan, Koushani Mukherjee, Deepa Khandkar, Misha Saudagar, and others, the crime thriller resonated deeply with audiences.

These diverse reactions underscore the variety and impact of this year's Eid movie lineup, promising engaging experiences for cinema enthusiasts.
