Vietnam Ambassador to Bangladesh Tran Van Khoa called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Friday at latter’s residence office of the university. He was accompanied by his spouse Pham Thi Minh Diep.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest especially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes among DU and universities in Vietnam. Bangladesh and Vietnam are two friendly countries and both the countries have been enjoying good relations for long time, they opined. DU VC apprised the Ambassador of brief history and academic activities of Dhaka University.
Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman thanked the Vietnam Ambassador for his visit to and keen interest in establishing joint academic collaboration with DU.
