On the occasion of 50 years of Independence and Victory Day, special programmes have been organised in different places of the capital today. The concert will be a special surprise in these events. So far, concerts have been reported in three places in the capital - Manik Mia Avenue, Hatirjheel and Dhanmondi's Bengal Shilpalaya. Famous musicians of the country will sing in these concerts.
Victory day will be held on Manik Mia Avenue in the capital from this morning. The artistes will take the stage to sing in the afternoon. It is learnt that Fahmida Nabi, Samina Chowdhury, Rafiqul Alam, Abida Sultana, Rezwana Chowdhury Bonya, Naqib Khan, Bappa Majumder and many others will take part in this concert. Each of them will sing their own popular songs as well as country songs.
On the other hand to mark the 50th anniversary of the victory of Bangladesh an event titled ‘Lal Shobujer Mohauthshob’ has started from December 1 at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater a beautiful place of the capital. There will be also special surprises on the last day of the festival, Nagar Baul James, Hassan and SI Tutul will be performing on stage at 9 pm.

Hassan will be seen in a big concert after many days through this event. The once-popular band star has been hiding for a while now, but he is returning to the stage thinking about the audience. He will sing in the same concert with James many days later - he is quite excited about it. Hassan will sing his popular songs including 'Sweetie', 'Jare Ure Ja', 'Eto Kashto Keno Bhalobasay', 'Prashno'.
On the other hand, various day-long events will be held on the occasion of Victory Day at Bengal Shilpalaya in the capital. After the evening, the popular band 'Joler Gaan' will come in front of the audience to listen to the songs. All three concerts will be open to the general public.
