Coronavirus vaccination has been started for 27,000 HSC candidates in Bogura like several other districts of the country on priority basis.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md Ziaul Haque inaugurated the vaccination at Mujibur Rahman Women's College in the city at 11 am on Wednesday.
Bogura Civil Surgeon Dr Gausul Azim Chowdhury, General Secretary of Bogura District Awami League Ragebul Ahsan Ripu, Principal of the College Professor Dr Johra Wahida Rahman presided over the programme.

Belal Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ICT and Education) Nilufa Yasmin, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Samir Hossain Mishu, District Education Officer Ramzan Ali Akand and others were present at the programme.
The parents who came with the students to get the vaccine said that they are happy that the students are able to participate in the test with the corona vaccine after completing various complications.
Shahnaz Akhtar Priya, an HSC examinee who came for vaccination, said, “After a long time, we are able to open classes in schools and colleges. But we were terrified of Corona. Now we are happy to get vaccinated. This will enable us to go to the test center without any hesitation and we will be safe from corona.”
Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Samir Hossain Mishu said the vaccine would be given to 1,450 HSC candidates at Government Mujibur Rahman Women's College and 1,810 HSC candidates at Government Shah Sultan College in a festive atmosphere on the first day.
A total of 27,278 HSC candidates will be vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine in all educational institutions in phases for the next 10 days except Friday.
