USA, one of the host country of the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup will play two bilateral series next month with hosting Bangladesh and Canada when the USA Cricket (USAC) announced on Thursday.
Ahead of the World Cup the international T20 home series against Canada and Bangladesh will be very much significant for USA when they play in a five-match T20I series against Canada, followed by a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.
All matches will take place at the Prairie View Cricket Complex (PVCC) in Houston, Texas.
The five-match T20I series against Canada scheduled to take place from April 7 when the series against Bangladesh scheduled to start from May 21, right 10 days ahead of the World Cup.
Meanwhile, the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket world Cup will kick off from June 1 with the hosts USA will take on Canada.
USA Cricket (USAC) is announced the two international T20 home series featuring the Men’s National Team ahead of its preparation for the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup.
The lineup of matches for the men’s national team was confirmed after USAC’s successful discussions with Cricket Canada, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and ICC. These tours will also aim to strengthen USAC’s bilateral ties with respective boards and offer more such playing opportunities for its teams in the future.
According to the ICC, commenting on the development, Venu Pisike, Chairman of USA Cricket, said, “Ahead of the important Men’s T20 World Cup, these games will be vital for our team to get their working combinations, build team cohesion, and fine-tune strategies. I’d also like to thank ICC, Cricket Canada and the Bangladesh Cricket Board who offered their full support in scheduling of the matches.”

The first T20 match on 7th April, Second T20 on 9th April, 3rd match on 10th April, 4th match on 12th April and the 5th match on 13th April when PVCC, Houston , TX is the venue of all matches.
