The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka is happy to announce the call for the 2025-2026 Hubert H. Humphrey (HHH) Fellowship Program. This program is a nine-month professional development opportunity in the United States. It is open to Bangladeshi professionals working in public and private sectors, including research organizations, think tanks, and NGOs.
The HHH Fellowship Program began in 1978 to honor the late Senator and Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey. It brings young and mid-career professionals to the U.S. for a year of non-degree graduate study, leadership development, and collaboration with American experts. This program helps build lasting partnerships between Americans and their foreign counterparts.
Applicants can apply in various fields such as Economic Development, Finance, Public Policy, Technology, Journalism, Law, Agriculture, Environmental Policy, Urban Planning, Education, Public Health, and Substance Abuse.
To be eligible, applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens living in Bangladesh, have a university degree, and at least five years of work experience in their field. They must also be proficient in English with a minimum TOEFL score of 71 and have not participated in U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs in the last three years.
