The annual Urs marking the 810th death anniversary of Hazrat Shah Sufi Khawaja Mainuddin Chisty (RA) will be observed on the premises of Mia Saheb's Maidan at Luxmibazar in the old city of Dhaka today (Monday).
A discussion on the life and activities of Hazrat Khawaja Mainuddin Chisty (RA), a milad and doa mahfil have been organised after Magreb prayers on the occasion.
The program will begin through the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Haji Dr Mohammed Ishtiaq Sazzadur Rahman, Hafez Md Faruq and Hafez Mohammed Rohmotullah.

Ninth goddinashin pir Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim, who is also the Mutwalli of Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and Director of Mia Saheb's Maidan Shah Saheb Bari Jamey Masjid will conductthe discussion and the akheri munazat.
Pesh Imam and Khotib of Shah Saheb's Bari Jame Masjid Hazrat Maulana Jabed Omar Al-Kaderi and other Islami scholars will participate in discussion.
The milad mahfil will be conducted by Haji Sayed Barkatullah Badaruddin.
Later, tabarak will be distributed among the devotees. Convener of the programme Saiyed Toiyab Morshed Araf has invited all
to attend the function, said a press release.
