The government has decided to hold university admission test following medical college admission procedure from the next year.
An agency named National Testing Authority (NTA) will be formed in this regard. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has sent letters to all public universities seeking opinions. The varsities will have to reply within this month.
NTA will be formed on the basis of opinions of the universities.
On April 3, UGC at a meeting discussed various aspects of the NTA.
