Dr Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, Bangladesh Awami League health and population sub-committee member, Universal Medical College Hospital, Dhaka managing director, and Sarail Association, Dhaka joint general secretary-1, held a views exchange meeting with eminent persons and journalists at Brahmanbaria Press Club on Thursday.
Ashis Kumar in his written speech said that he planned to conserve the memorial places of historical personalities in Sarail and Ashuganj, beautify the areas, improve the tourism sector, construct freedom fighter, media complexes, modern stadiums, a modern trauma centre on the Sarail-Ashuganj road, install street lights, modernise schools, health complexes, upgrade government colleges, and provide quality accommodation for doctors in villages, according to a press release.
