It's truly inspiring to see North South University taking proactive steps towards nurturing the next generation of economists and development professionals through events like the Dialogue on Economics-Dev Studies

Career Prospects. Dr. Niaz Asadullah's insightful remarks, coupled with his distinguished academic background, undoubtedly provide invaluable guidance to students navigating their career paths in economics and related fields.

His emphasis on exploring diverse career avenues beyond the conventional paths is particularly noteworthy. In today's rapidly evolving global landscape, where interdisciplinary skills and perspectives are highly valued, his advice to consider emerging fields like public policy and data science resonates deeply. Moreover, his encouragement to look beyond traditional educational hubs like the US and UK towards rising institutions in Spain, Italy, and Asia reflects a forward-thinking approach towards academic and professional growth.

As a venture capitalist, I commend NSU for fostering such meaningful engagements that not only enrich the educational experience but also equip students with the knowledge and insights needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world. Dr. Asadullah's visit promises to be a catalyst for stimulating discussions and forging valuable connections within the NSU community, ultimately contributing to the development of well-rounded and adaptable professionals poised to make significant contributions to the field of economics and beyond.
