‘Udbhaboker Khonje’, a programme styled for searching young innovators was held at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on Sunday.
The access to information (a2i) programme of the Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Division and ICT Division with Human Development Media (HDM), Innovation Lab and Channel-i organised the event sponsored by USAID and UNDP.
Vice-Chancellor of BRUR Prof Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah attended the function as the chief guest.
The event titled ‘Season 2: In Search of Innovator’ was arranged with the slogan ‘Your innovation, the potential of the country’ for selection of young innovators.
Over 100 students of different educational institutions and youths from all over Rangpur division participated in the episode.
Assistant consultant of HDM of the a2i programme Jubair Shawan and its young professional Sajib Roy attended the episode as adjudicators.
Director of cyber centre of BRUR and focal person of its innovation hub Muhammad Shamsuzzaman and assistant proctor of the university Md Atiur Rahman were present.
