Khulshi Thana of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has arrested two youths from Chattogram city’s Ambagan area and seized forged notes of Taka one lakh from their possession on Friday night.

The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Helal, 22, hailed from Bhujpur thana of Chottogram district and Mohiuddin ,21, hailed from Bayzid Thana of the CMP area. Santus Chakma, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulshi Thana said the arrestees are professional fake note traders and were involved in fake currency trading for long lime. Legal steps would be taken against them in this connection, the OC added.
