Two more trains resume operation from Rajshahi

Two more intercity trains- Kobadak Express and Modhumoti Express start their journey after 69-day of suspension from Rajshahi railway station on Wednesday.

Abdul Karim, Station Manager of Rajshahi Railway Station informed, Kobadak express arrived Rajshahi on 11-50 am by leaving Khulna railway station at 6-00  and the train again departed from Rajshahi for Khulna at 2-00 pm.

On the other hand, Modhumati Express train departed Rajshahi at 8-00 am and it arrived at Rajbari station at 1-00 pm and it again restarted for Rajshahi at 3-00 pm from Rajbari and arrived in Rajshahi in due time. 

Earlier on May-31, four trains of West Zone railway start operation. The trains are Bonolata Express( Chapainawabganj-Dhaka), Lalmoni Express( Lalmonir hat-Dhaka), Chitra Express( khulna-Dhaka) and Panchgarh Express( Panchgarh-Dhaka). Al the trains are carrying half the capacity of the passengers and tickets of the trains are being sold on online only. 

It is learnt, movement of train in all routes of west zone railway remained suspended from March-25. Now, the passengers are being seated in their seats by maintaining social distance and station and train compartments are being cleaned and disinfected by spraying germicides and medicine.
