Two more Rohingyas have been detained by 14 APBN members in connection with the murder of top Rohingya leader Mohammad Muhibullah at a Rohingya camp in Ukhia of Cox's Bazar on last Wednesday.
The detained Rohingyas are identified as Ziaur Rahman and Abdus Salam. A team of the Armed Police Battalion (APBN) raided the Ukhia Kutupalong Rohingya camp on Friday midnight and detained them. APBN handed over the two detainees to Ukhia police station later.
APBN Superintendent of Police Naimul Haque, who is in charge of camp security, confirmed the arrest of two Rohingyas on Saturday morning. So far, three suspected Rohingyas have been arrested in connection with the murder of Muhibullah. APBN members also arrested Mohammad Selim Prakash around 12 noon on Friday and handed him over to Ukhia police later.
Earlier on Thursday night, Habibullah, the brother of Rohingya leader Muhibullah, had filed a case with the police against him.
