Two labourers at Uttar Guri[ara area under Kasiadanga police station died of electrocution while working at an under-construction building on Monday afternoon.
The victims were identified as Mohan(26) son of Monsur Ali of Harogram Natunpara and Ahmed(25) son of Arjed of the same area.
Officer in charge of Kasiadanga Police station Monsur Ali Arif informed several construction labourers had been working at an under-construction building at Uttar Guripara area.
The iron grill of the building was electrified when two labourers touched the grill, they were fatally injured by being electrocuted. They were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared them dead.
Police sources said, the dead bodies of the victim will be handed over to their relatives after autopsy.
