A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Police under the direction of Brahmanbaria District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Anisur Rahman, and under the overall supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Alamgir Hossain PPM, detained two drug peddlers from Kashinagar village under Singerbeel union of Bijoynagar Police Station in Brhamnabaria on Monday. At that time, Police recovered 41 bottles of contraband syrup from them.
The detainees are Ayesha Begum 40, Md Tajul Islam 48, their father’s name is Md Sahidul Islam and both hailed from Brahmanbaria. A case was filed with Bijoynagar Police Station in this connection.
