Rajshahi University Career Club (RUCC) organised the two-day long 7th Job Festival. The festival starts today (October 18) in front of Rabindranath Tagore Academic Building of the University and will end on October 19.
Khandkar Abhishek Ibn Shams, president of the organization, informed this in a press conference held at the University's Rabindranath Tagore Academic Building on Monday.
Addressing the press conference, Khandkar Abhishek Ibn Shams said that University students can submit their resumes in this two-day festival. In this, the reputed companies of the country will directly provide job opportunities to the students of the university. As a result, students will benefit from campus-wide job placements, internship opportunities, career seminars, training and workshops, quiz competitions and corporate nights.
He also said that University Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Sultan-ul-Islam and Prof. Humayun Kabir will be present.
According to the press conference, Merico Bangladesh Limited, Mentor, Bikash, Lotto, Pran, BRAC, Panjeri, EduExpert, Black and many other companies are bringing employment opportunities in this career fest. Also, Lotto Eduhub, Kiran, Pran, Daily Star are the sponsors of the festival.
Rajshahi University Career Club advisory board member Prof. Monimul Haque, Prof. Dr. Ruksana Begum, Dr. Md Zahirul Anis and Professor Sadiqul Islam Sagar, Vice President of the organization Ayesha Akhter Asha and General Secretary Jannatul Ferdous Sajal were present at the press conference.
Rajshahi University Career Club was established in 2013. Since its inception the club has organized 7 successful job fairs and 6 successful career fests. Has done many collaborative events with various multinational companies of the country such as Banglalink, Samsung, Marico, Unilever and many more. They also organized seminars, workshops and competitions, public speaking at various times.
