Turkish envoy hands over medical equipment

Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Mostafa Usman Turan handed over two ventilation systems for Jhenaidah Sadar hospital for better services to the patients suffering with Coronavirus. The systems were handed over to the superintendent of the hospital Dr Syed Rezaul Islam by Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh  through a discussion at the hospital auditorium on Sunday morning. Turkish Friends, a charitable organisation donated the ventilation systems.

Presided over by Jhenaidah Sadar hospital superintendent Dr Syed Rezaul Islam, the discussion was addressed among others by civil surgeon Dr Shuvra Rani Debnath, additional deputy commissioner Razibul Islam and additional superintendent of police Abul Bashar. Local organisation Zahedi Foundation executive member Qayum Shahraier Zahedi Hizol among others was present.

Mostafa Usman Turan in his speech as chief guest said, “Turkey and Bangladesh are the best friends where the people of the countries are tied with bond of love and culture for centuries together. The people and the government of Turkey feel proud to stand by the ailing people of Bangladesh.”

The newly installed ventilation systems will help lot to provide better and faster treatment to the patients when the country was slapped by global havoc corona virus, the organizers said.
