A Turkish national was found dead in a room of a residential hotel in Cox's Bazar town. The deceased was identified as Misos Dural Bay, 50.
The body was recovered at about 8:00pm on Sunday. Md Khairuzzaman, inspector (investigation) of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station, confirmed the matter. He said that the Turkish national might have died from a stroke.
Dr Shaheen Md Abdur Rahman Chowdhury, residential medical officer of Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, said that samples of the deceased have been collected for Covid-19 test to know whether he was infected by the virus.
Misos Dural Bay was an information technology (IT) officer at a field hospital in Balukhali Rohingya refugee camp in Ukhia upazila.
