District and Sessions Judge of Gopalganj Amit Kumar Dey paid homage at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Gopalganj’s Tungipara on Wednesday afternoon.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Shahadat Hossain Bhuiyan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Osman Gani, Judge (Joint District and Sessions Judge) of Land Survey Tribunal Yusuf Hossain and others were present on the occasion.
After reciting the Holy Fateha and Durood, they prayed for the salvation of the soul of Bangabandhu and all the martyrs 15th August, 1975 and wished for the well-being of the country, including the deserving daughter of Bangabandhu, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Later, on behalf of the Gopalganj Judiciary, District and Sessions Judge Amit Kumar Dey signed the reserved inspection book of Bangabandhu Mausoleum.
It may be mentioned that as part of the program scheduled on the occasion of National Mourning Day, a mourning banner has been hoisted at the District and Sessions Judge Court Building and Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Building marking the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
