The premises of Sylhet MC College and Sylhet Shahid Minar became hot on Monday with slogans against murderers of Ifzal.
Speakers raised these slogans at a human chain held demanding immediate revelation of the murder of Hafeez Ifzal, son of late Qutub Ali of Kaptanpur village in Jhingabari union of Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet.
Leaders of various student organizations addressed the human chain at the main gate of MC College organized by the Department of Political Science of MC College.
In their speeches, they called for immediate revelation of the mystery of the murder of
meritorious student Ifzal and arrest of the culprits.
On the other hand, the speakers at the human chain organized by Tension Service, Sylhet Division at Sylhet Shaheed Minar said that Hafiz Ifzal was a very talented, polite and humble social worker.
Looking at his body, it is easy to guess that it was a premeditated murder, but many are trying to call it a suicide or normal death.
It may be mentioned that on Thursday morning, June 25, Shahparan police station men recovered the body of Ifzal Ahmed, 28, from the ground floor of the house No. 3, Road No. 18, B-Block, Sylhet.
He was a Quran Hafeez and Honors second year student at Sylhet MC College. He is the son of late Qutub Ali of Kaptanpur village in Jhingabari union of Kanaighat upazila. Ifzal had been living in that house with his elder sister for the last 5 years.
