Several hundred people in Jhenaidah with various banner, placard and festoons formed a human chain in the district town on Monday demanding punishment to the killers of three innocent children at Jashore Child Development Centre.
Srizony Foundation, a voluntary organisation in Jhenaidah, organized the human chain programme in front of Jhenaidah Old DC Court premises. The speakers expressed their deep shock when three children were brutally murdered and a number injured in series of clashes in the development centre run by the government.
It had worried several lakh guardians when their children have been taking lesson in the centres throughout the country. They had demanded exemplary punishment for the killers so that no one could think of this sort of heinous activity anyway.
Srizony Foundation senior administrative officer Advocate Mojammel Haque, Radio Jhinuk station manager Parvin Nahar among others spoke in the human chain.
