A moderate earthquake jolted different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka in the wee hours of Friday.
The quake was felt around 12:30 am at 5.6 degree on Richter scale, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

The quake's epicenter was in Myanmar, approximately 477 kilometers (km) away from the East-South-East of the capital.
However, no casualty was reported immediately after the incident.
