The Bangladesh women's football team has limited time to prepare for their upcoming matches against Chinese Taipei, a team ranked significantly higher than them. However, head coach Peter Butler remains unfazed. The English coach expresses confidence in his team for their upcoming assignment.
Many players in the national team are currently competing in the ongoing women's league, with most of them representing Nasreen Academy. The remaining players participate in other teams. This busy schedule, coupled with Peter Butler's training sessions, creates additional pressure on key players like Sabina Khatun and Sanjida Akhtar.
Bangladesh will play two international friendlies against Chinese Taipei during the upcoming FIFA window. While the short practice window due to the league season is a concern, Butler maintains a positive outlook. He acknowledges the limitations.
Butler said, “I have to give a little concession in training. Because they are also practicing regularly in the club which is an added pressure for them. But they have to practice hard in the national team camp. Because there is a matter of professionalism and rules. I have faith in the youth. I want to give them a chance. But we need to bring consistency to club and national team practices. If I get time for a week or 10 days that will be enough for me.”
