Khulna University's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has launched a special two-day training program focused on digital office tools. The program aims to enhance the skills of university staff in using digital devices effectively for office management.
The training commenced on May 29th with an inauguration ceremony attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mosammat Hosne Ara. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of training to improve workplace skills and efficiency. She highlighted the need for acquiring knowledge to adapt to modern digital devices.
The event was chaired by IQAC Director, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Haider, who stressed the significance of staying updated with technological advancements. Additional Director Prof. Dr. Motiul Islam welcomed the participants, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing team.
The technical sessions featured experts including Prof. Dr. Abu Shamim Mohammad Arif from the Computer Science and Engineering Discipline and Prof. Abdullah-Al Nahid from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Discipline. Additional guidance was provided by Prof. Dr. Jagdish Chandra Jowardar, IQAC's Additional Director, along with Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Sub-Registrar Nurul Islam Siddiqui.
Thirty-six officers and employees from various departments of Khulna University actively participated in the training program. The sessions focused on practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises to familiarize participants with digital tools commonly used in office settings.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap in digital literacy among university staff and improve operational efficiency. Such training programs are essential in today's digital age to ensure that employees can effectively utilize modern tools for better productivity and performance.
